Wingaru Education is an Aboriginal owned and operated business delivering digital tools to support teachers in the classroom as they deliver Aboriginal perspectives.
Teachers often report that they are struggling with delivering Aboriginal persepectives due to time restraints, lack of resources and concerns about offending people by teaching the wrong thing. Wingaru Kids addresses each of these concerns, supporting teachers to deliver culturally competent lessons they can trust.
Aligned with the Australian curriculum, Wingaru Kids provides complete lessons for primary school aged students. Each lesson is complete with comprehensive lesson plan, video, cultural support, printable materials and digital activities.
All our lessons are completed by a team of experienced educators.
Each child receives their own account, with teachers able to provide tailored learning opportunities at the touch of a button. All student results feed directly into the classroom teachers digital markbook.
With a broad range of topics including early contact, traditional life, cultural expression, political history and contemporary issues, Wingaru kids has lessons to appeal to all teachers and students.
