Testimonials

  1. Gill Berriman | September 26, 2019

The result is an open, vibrant learning space where the disciplines of STEAM education come together and teacher and students are no longer isolated through physical space or traditional classroom formats. Students and staff alike are thrilled with the result and learning outcomes are already being enhanced. We have instantly become a key school in Tasmania for STEAM education through our unique approach to teaching pedagogy and our spaces have received accolades as an excellent example of a progressive and innovative learning environment.

  2. Geelong Library | September 26, 2019

We worked with Raeco to order all of our shelving and most of our library furniture in the total redesign of our three divisional libraries. We are very pleased with our shelving which is mobile and also provides ample space for front facing books. The colours of the furniture really pop in our space and are proving to be durable under constant heavy usage.

The Team at International School of Manila

The Dome was nominated for international Systematic Public Library of the Year 2016 Award and also awarded the ARM prestigious Victorian Architecture Award, Best Regional Architecture Award, Best Interior Architecture Award, and Best Public Architecture Award. Geelong Library had 321,710 visits in first seven months (89.5% increase over last 5 years) with 308,803 loans in first seven months (16% increase over last 5 years). We have had numerous enquiries from visitors about suppliers of library shelving.”

  3. Tim Bowden | September 26, 2019

The Stage 3 Centre is designed to enable Stage based teaching; there is one class with 112 students and five or more teachers. The large open-plan space is differentiated primarily through furnishing, creating smaller areas for groups to experience individual work, collaborative work and direct instruction in groups from ten to 112 students. Rather than a highly-structured and regulated classroom that aims for compliance, this learning space aims for student engagement through the alignment of the furnished environment with the learning activity taking place.

The new classrooms have been furnished with a priority on flexibility, mobility and variety. Swivel chairs, semi-circular and rectangular tables, and lounges are all able to be easily deployed in a variety of configurations, as best meets the pedagogical agenda of the lesson.

  4. Kurt Wittig | September 26, 2019

Working with Chhaya and Trevor was excellent. They personally oversaw the construction of the shelves here in Singapore. The shelves themselves are an outstanding product; robust, mobile, and elegant. I could not be more pleased with Raeco’s service and shelves. General community opinion has been very agreeable. Students are content as are parents and staff.

  5. Anne Ritchie | September 26, 2019

Thanks to the design expertise of Raeco, our new libraryin a glass-encased, floating mezzanine floor of a nineteenth century heritage building, melds the old with the new, with grace and style. Natural light from the LED lights in the outside shell travels across the low-line, mobile shelving, allowing flexibility and clear line of sight across the whole library. On entering the space our clients gasp audibly before gravitating towards an area that suits them for the day. Double screen computers, comfortably spaced along the perimeter benches, allow researchers to work efficiently, undisturbed by centralised activities. The shelves are interspersed with bright pink chairs, complementing the muted heritage colours. The custom-designed reference desk allows stand-up or sit-down reference with wheelchair access. Study booths in the learning lounge entice and enclose those who want privacy for informal peer teaching. It is all about functionality with elegance, and through Raeco we’ve achieved a fine balance.

  6. Megan Lindsay | September 26, 2019

Shastiq was extremely professional, positive and always available despite distance and time constraints. She understood budget limitations and came up with solutions that were acceptable to all levels of school involvement. We achieved the ‘wow’ factor with the Campfire Seating, the picture book shelving, Wave Seating and Pod Seating. We certainly wouldn’t have looked as good without these features. It is the pride of the school.

  7. Matthew Wood | September 26, 2019

Raeco’s ability to understand and interpret our needs to present a design which fully captured our brief was exceptional. From start to finish their professionalism and level of service was second to none. We were kept informed of progress throughout the entire project and everything was delivered and installed on time. The result was a discovery learning space for our students that is modern, comfortable, innovative and sophisticated – all of which is a testament to Raeco’s ability to understand the needs of their customer.”

    Matthew Wood (Director of Learning)
