in Safe Hands offers Child Protection training across Australia and New Zealand. Our courses are offered as face to face workshops, or online – and are specifically tailored to meet the needs of schools and early years education and care services. We base our training on delivering up to date and relevant information, and teaching practical strategies for real life that are easily implemented and ensure Duty of Care obligations are met. We draw on our many years of experience working as detectives investigating serious child abuse offences and case managing ongoing child abuse matters, as well as our formal studies in law, psychology, education, public safety and training. Our training system focuses not just on recognising and reporting abuse, but also on the more effective Early Intervention and Prevention strategies that may also be required as part of your Duty of Care in relation to Child Protection. Online training can be delivered cost effectively by organisations to their staff using their own portal, and participants can complete training anywhere, anytime and at their own pace – logging in and out as often as is required. Organisations can also utilise their portal to provide other workplace training to staff.
