AUSTSWIM is the Australian Council for the Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety. The AUSTSWIM accreditation is the industry standard for swimming and water safety teachers™. It has industry representation in each state and territory of Australia. .AUSTSWIM is a non-profit organisation.

We work with aquatic facilities, education departments and peak industry organisations to achieve the AUSTSWIM philosophy that all Australians should have appropriate and relevant swimming and water safety skills and understand principles and practices of water safety.

We teach Pre School and School teachers how to teach the fundamentals and principles of water safety, diving and different strokes. Whether you want to teach pre-school, primary school or high school children to swim, you will find a suitable course through AUSTSWIM.

The AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water SafetyTM course will give you the essential competencies to teach swimming and water safety to people above four years of age in swimming pools and confined natural shallow water venues.
